An evaluated value as formula source — what F9 (evaluate-in-place) splices back into the text.
The counterpart to formatEvalValue, and deliberately NOT the same function: that one
produces DISPLAY text for a tip bubble (a string shows unquoted, a big range collapses to
{rows×cols}), while this has to produce something the parser reads back as the same value —
strings quoted, booleans as literals, arrays as real array syntax with this locale's separators.
null (⇒ the host leaves the text alone) for anything that can't round-trip: a parse error, a
non-finite number, an empty or oversized array (MAX_LITERAL_CELLS).
Callers must re-parse the spliced result and abandon the edit if it doesn't compile. The locale
surface here (separators, boolean words) is a mirror of the engine's, and a mismatch must cost the
user nothing more than an F9 that didn't fire.
