The MUI→Theme adapter: maps a MUI Theme onto the framework-neutral flat TokenTheme
token set (utils-react) — one mode's worth of --sxl-* values. createStudioThemeCSS compiles the
app + surface cells for both modes into the attribute-rule stylesheet the studio injects at its root, so
the grid resolves its palette through the token model instead of prop-threaded GridStyle structs.
Only the neutral token layer is mapped here (base ramp, semantic hues, fonts, geometry). The document
color/font layers (--sxl-doc-*, --sxl-sys-color-*) stay with the workbook model, not the MUI theme.
